This workshop introduces Rowan faculty and staff to the Institutional Data & Analytics (IDA) dashboard environment, with a focus on accessing, navigating, and effectively using institutional dashboards and analytics tools. Participants will learn how to access dashboards through the IDA portal, understand the different dashboard categories available, and navigate common dashboard features such as filters, drill-downs, interactive charts, and data downloads.

The workshop will highlight the Census Enrollment Dashboard as a hands-on example to demonstrate how institutional data can be explored and analyzed across multiple dimensions, including term, college, program, residency, demographics, and student level. Attendees will also be introduced to the Census Enrollment AI Agent, which enables natural language interaction with institutional data through conversational questions.

Through guided examples and demonstrations, participants will gain practical experience using dashboards to slice, filter, compare, and interpret enrollment data to support reporting, planning, and decision-making. The session is designed to help the Rowan community become more confident and efficient in using institutional data resources for their day-to-day work.
