How to Prepare for RU SETs (Student Evaluations) Before They Go Live

This workshop will help instructors to know the steps they can take before the Rowan Student Evaluations of Teaching open.

There are two follow-up workshops: I’ve Got my Student Evaluation Reports, Now What? on January 16, and A Deeper Dive into Student Evaluation Data Available in your Anthology Dashboard on February 13.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Provide students with a brief overview of the evaluation process and its purpose at the beginning of the semester and add information to their course syllabus. 
  • Request a cross-listing of course sections.
  • Review the timeline of important dates related to student evaluations.
  • Adjust their relevant learning objectives in their Anthology Faculty Dashboard.
  • Schedule a time to have students complete the student evaluation surveys.
  • Encourage their students to complete the survey.
  • Monitor student response rates in their Anthology Faculty Dashboard.

Skill Level(s): No experience to extensive experience.
