Reimagining Feedback and Assessment Through Learner-Centered and Growth-Oriented Practices
Description of Event:
Shift the focus from the teacher to the student, emphasizing student needs, interests, and active participation in the learning process. Students start to believe that their abilities, intelligence, and talents can be developed through effort, learning, and perseverance.

Learning Outcomes: By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Define learner-centered and growth-oriented feedback and assessment strategies
- Analyze current feedback and assessment philosophy statements for alignment with teaching practices
- Develop a plan to reimagine feedback and assessment approaches that foster student agency and growth
- Apply strategies for reciprocal feedback loops that promote meaningful dialogue and continuous improvement
- Evaluate the impact of feedback and assessment practices on both student learning and teaching effectiveness
