The area of scholarly communication has been undergoing rapid change in the last several years impacting the scholarly communication lifecycle as well as traditional models of publishing. In this workshop, attendees will learn about the context of the changing landscape in scholarly communication, green and gold open access, copyright, creative commons licenses, some tools and services available to manage the scholarly communication lifecycle. The workshop aims to raise awareness about these issues and give thoughtful consideration to how they might manage their scholarly communication lifecycle in a more informed manner.
